Blender Day 41 : Blender41 how to change the font in blender
Hello, everyone! It's William from learn-digital-art.com. As you can see, I've made some updates to my background UI. I've added my Twitter and Twitch accounts, so if you're interested, feel free to follow me on those platforms. Additionally, I've updated Blender to its latest long-term support version, which is Blender 2.93.3.
In this video, I'll be focusing on changing the outlook of Blender. Sometimes, the interface can have small fonts, making it difficult to read. To adjust this, we can change the resolution scale in the preferences. Let me show you how.
First, click on "Preferences" and navigate to the "Interface" section. The "Resolution Scale" is set to 1 by default. You can increase it to 1.2 or 1.3 to make the fonts larger. I'll leave it at 1.33, which should be good enough.
Additionally, if you find the font size to be too large, you can adjust it by changing the font size settings in the screen cast keys and the interface itself.
It's worth mentioning that changing the theme and text style in the preferences may not be the ideal way to address the small font issue. This is because it won't change the icons accordingly. The small font problem is typically related to your screen settings. If you have a high-resolution screen, Blender may display small fonts. It's better to adjust the resolution scale rather than just changing the text style.
I hope this helps you with any font size issues you may encounter. Let's continue with the tutorial!
