Blender Day 39 : Blender39 duplication and well example

Alright, it's time to put what we've learned into practice. We have our well model here, and we can apply our material knowledge to it. Let's say we want to change the material of the well. We can select each part of the well individually. If you're not in material randomization mode, you can simply select each one.

Once you've selected all the parts of the well, you can choose one of the materials to change. In this case, the well currently has a default material. I'll delete that and add a new material called "Brick." I'll change the color to match the typical color of bricks, maybe making it slightly darker.

Once you've applied the material, you can link it to the rest of the well by using Ctrl + L and selecting "Link Material." This will make all the parts of the well adopt the new material, giving them a darker appearance.

Now, let's say we want to change the material of the wooden structure. Let's call it "Plank." We can add a new material and give it a wooden texture. I'm going to refer to it as "plank" for simplicity.

Alright, let's give it a try.
