Blender Day 9: delete and add object in blender

Alright, let's discuss how to delete objects. You have two options: either press the 'X' key or right-click the object and select 'Delete'. Now, let's move on to adding objects to our scene. The easiest way is to click the 'Add' button in the front menu. If you don't see it, there should be a small arrow you can click to reveal it. Let's add a cube as an example. Boom, the cube appears. You might be wondering why it appears at the center of the scene. As we discussed earlier, the object will automatically appear where the cursor is located. So, if I move the cursor here and add a UV sphere, it will appear at the cursor's position. If you want to move it back to the original place, select the cursor tool and place it back where it was. If you drag the cursor, it becomes difficult to locate the exact position because you're dragging in a 2D space while the scene is 3D. So, remember to switch to the select box tool. You can select the object, change its surface, location, and scale. We'll cover this in more detail in later videos. Now, practice the shortcut for adding and deleting. Press 'X' to delete. If you want to delete the sphere, click on it, press 'X', and then 'Delete'. It's gone. Another way to add objects is to press 'Shift' and 'A' simultaneously. This will bring up a menu where you can choose different options, such as mesh, curve, or surface. Let's choose a cylinder. There it is. Again, the cylinder will appear where the cursor is located. So, remember the importance of the cursor. Be careful about where you place it. That pretty much covers adding and deleting objects.
