Blender Day 6: change the view point

Alright, let's begin with a simple movement in Blender. To select something, you just need to click the left mouse button. As you can see, you've already selected the "View 3D" option. Don't worry about the code shown in the brackets; that's part of the Blender engine, and we'll dive into it in advanced lessons.

If you want to perform more advanced actions, you can click the right mouse button. This will give you additional options, such as deleting the selected object. Of course, if you make a mistake, you can always use the "Ctrl + Z" shortcut to undo your actions.

When you press the middle mouse button, you can change the direction you're looking at. This allows you to rotate the view in the 3D environment. Alternatively, you can simply click on the "X," "Y," or "Z" buttons located here to quickly switch to different viewpoints. Each button represents a different axis, and by clicking them, you can easily change your perspective.

These options will be helpful when you want to rotate the view or use predefined viewpoints. For example, clicking the "Y" button will give you the Y viewpoint. If you prefer a more intuitive and free rotation, you can simply drag the middle mouse button to move around the 3D environment. Personally, I find the free viewpoint more immersive, as it truly represents a 3D experience.

If you want to hide the right-side panel, you can press "N." This will hide the panel and give you a wider workspace. Pressing "N" again will bring it back.

That's pretty much what we need to know for now in order to start moving around in Blender.
